2004: Well, I knew it was going to
happen, I just didn't think it would be so
soon. Not more than 2 weeks after getting
the new carb installed, the engine let go.
Notice the bluish-white smoke shooting out the passenger side tailpipe. The oil leak got worse and worse. I was actually in this stop when the engine died, and would never restart again...it took several hours to pull the jeep down the creek with the hand come-along. We got it back to the ramp, where we pulled it out with my truck. Too much oil, and not enough compression. |
